This year's sponsored walk in Snowdonia was as tough (probably tougher) than any we have done previously. The steepness of the ascents and descents made this as much a climbing and scrambling expedition as it was a walk. The unsupported nature of the walk meant that the boys were all carrying large rucksacks. They did fantastically well, as did the 6 supporting fathers, and we were very proud of them. The walk took 4 days and we climbed 11 three thousanders. We raised oaver £14,000 for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People |
