Maidwell 0 Bedford 6
Archie Clifton-Brown captained our side well, especially conisdering the inexperience of a number of the boys. For a few it was their first football match ever. Peter Wang and Tom Ritson, our centres, went around the whole pitch and did very well. As A result tehy have now been selected for the third XI. Our strikers, Charlie Seddon and Yontham Piensuparp, had a couple of glory runs, but unfortunately to no avail. Pasha Jan showed some promise on the wing and got stuck in. Lots of things to work on before our next match against Wellingborough in a couple of weeks.

Maidwell contested possession in this match but were beaten by a Wellingborough team that took their chances in front of goal. Archie Clifton-Brown was outstanding in the Maidwell goal and was easily the best player on the pitch.
