This year's Form I outward bound weekend took us to South Yorkshire and the Peak District. New activities and locations were introduced this year. Caving proved popular but challenging for those who had a fear of small, enclosed spaces. Abseiling was another new activity and we did this from the viaduct in Miller's Dale which gave the boys a real buzz. The climibing activity was also challenging and was located at Yarncliffe Quarry. The Sunday walk took us into some of the most stunning Peak District countryside which everyone enjoyed, and everyone completed. It had been a very successful weekend of challenge and fun and all agreed that the new formula should be repeated. |
