As usual the Leavers' Training Walk took place in February in Edale, North Peak. Earlier in the week heavy snow had been forecast but in the event we were lucky to have dry weather. However, there was a strong South-Easterly wind and it was very cold. Two boys were injured so numbers were down to 10 from the group of 12. All the boys coped remarkably well with the 12 mile walk which was completed in just over 7 hours. We have a strong and determined group ready for the big sponsored walk in June. |
