| Shrove Tuesday saw the school's traditional house pancake races take place on the croquet lawn. Competition was fierce and strict rules about the height to which the pancakes had to be tossed witnessed some anxious 'do it again' moments for several boys. Some pancakes were tossed so high that many valuable seconds were lost. |
