This year's athletics  meeting at Spratton Hall was a nail biting occasion. For the first time ever Maidwell was leading the field throughout the event until the relays at the very end. We had performed well in the senior age group and the Under 9's also showed a lot of promise. This year it was pleasing to see our team perform so well in the track events as well as our traditional strengths in the field events. The final announcement confirmed that we had just been beaten by Spratton Hall with Wellingborough coming third.
